You've decided to dedicate an entire room for your home theater. You might add theater seats, a popcorn machine, posters, even a marquee. In most cases, there are no windows, so light control is not going to be an issue. The screen is generally placed in a fixed position. Front projection is the most common choice, but rear projection screens can provide unprecedented image clarity and sharpness and your projector would be totally hidden & never seen.
